청소년이나 30대, 90대 젊은층의 전유물로 인식된 교정 치료에서 30대 뒤 중년층의 비율이 높아지면서 치아교정 병자가 꾸준하게 늘고 있다. 대한치과교정학회가 서울 부산 대구 광주 대전 등 전국 4대 도시의 대학병원과 종합병원 치과의 치아교정 병자를 조사했다.

이는 백신접종 후 잔여량 발생 등 폐기량을 최소화하기 위한 예비명단 확보 차원으로, 기한 내 명단을 제출하지 않을 경우 접종순서가 직후로 밀릴 수 있으니 각별히 유의해야 한다.

서울시는 지난 8일 이처럼 내용의 공문을 서울 23개구 보건소에 하달했다. 각 구 보건소는 이를 바탕으로 관할 내 치과병의원을 비롯한 의료기관에 접종 대상자 명단 제출을 요청한 것으로 검사됐다.
