For a recent project in Austin, I explored fiberglass roof panels to create a covered patio that could withstand the Texas heat and occasional hail. The translucent quality was perfect for letting in natural light without the intense glare, and installation on my existing metal frame was simpler than I expected. After a year of scorching summers and heavy storms, the panels still look new with no yellowing or cracking. A great alternative to traditional roofing for carports and patios.
